Postapocalyptibuggy [Part 22]

The ongoing chronicle and my first attempt at posting Work In Progress shots, this is my entry for the Massive Voodoo Mad Max Car Competition. I'll list them all on my Step by Step page, or you can view the current WIP series.

I threw some more wax shavings on from a tea light. These melted down to add to the current ice. (pic a little lower)
Added some light grey airbrushing for a snow effect.

 A little plant life
If you're familiar with winter, trees/bushes/etc will get a coating of ice. Dipping a bush made from twisted wires into glass/water effects gel will create this look once it dries. This idea was totally TheWife's, who used it to make coral.

 Here's my snow mix.

On the left is plain, fine, snowy white powder from a model shop.

On the right is "fake snow" from Michaels. (Hobby Lobby) You can see this stuff catches the light nicely.

Mix them together.

I have begun applying the snow.
The following are some photos of the truck as it sits. Tomorrow night I'll glue it to the base and drift snow up on the tires... then perhaps a couple final touch ups.
