Continuing on from the last post, I've taken the basic colour and wash and go further in the highlighting of the Brick Borderlands figure.
Basically, the above photo shows various layers of highlighting on the basic wash. While a wash adds some definition to the model, but real highlighting cleans things up and adds truer detail to the figure.
In the following photos, I've gone further with the washing and blending to to take the model roughly where I want it to be before I start cell-shading.
I'd ask what you think, but I wouldn't hear you over the green of his gun... Yeah, I'll be tuning that down.
